Wednesday 8th & Thursday 9th February 2017 At Sandy Park, Exeter EX2 7NN.
At VetsSouth we aim to offer the best CPD in a great, accessible venue with a fun and lively atmosphere along with good food and an exhibition showcasing the latest products and services from companies within the profession.
There will be two clinical streams for veterinary surgeons and one for veterinary nurses running concurrently each day, plus two two-hour small-group practical sessions/workshops each day; Wednesday will also be Large Animal Day and Thursday Practice Management Day. Plus, on Thursday morning, there will be a three-hour Mind Matters session, organised by the RCVS, on mental health awareness training – for all members of the veterinary team.
Also Wednesday and Thursday mornings sees sessions "THINKING OF BUYING A PRACTICE?" with David Brewer. The sessions are open to all delegates: simply check in at the FTA Finance stand to be directed to the seminar room. The sessions are for veterinary surgeons who aspire to become practice owners or are looking at purchasing another practice, and will cover topics such as where to start when looking for funding, what should be prepared before approaching the banks, how to prepare a business plan and forecasts, and the importance of working with independent experts.
